About Michelle Woodall Edinburgh Counsellor & Psychotherapist

I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist (BACP accredited course) and have been fortunate to work for several years supporting people in the voluntary sector. I have worked as a Counsellor for a number of Edinburgh based charities, with adults and young people.

I trained in the Person-Centred approach because I believe that a relationship with someone who is warm, understanding and genuine can make all the difference. I know many of my clients have accepted and understood themselves more through our work together and value the depth of our relationship. I find my work incredibly inspiring and work with integrity, honesty and humour.

Grief Counselling

Losing someone or something you love is very painful. A significant loss may lead to difficult and surprising emotions, such as shock, anger, overwhelming sadness, fear and guilt. These feelings can feel terrifying and overwhelming and they are normal feelings when dealing with loss. They are all part of the grieving process.

Counselling can help you to move through this process and explore your thoughts and feelings in a supportive space. It can help you to understand and accept yourself more and begin to regain a sense of purpose and acceptance.
