Patrick Cassidy Q.C., B.COMM, LLB, M.T.S., A.C.C.I., F.C.C.I.
Patrick Cassidy specialized in the area of Condominium Law since 1982. He acts for most of the condominium corporations in Nova Scotia as well as developers of condominium and fractional projects throughout Atlantic Canada.Pat is a frequent writer for various publications and a lecturer and teacher for several institutions across Canada and America.Pat is an elected member to Bar Council for the Nova Scotia Barristers Society and an elected member of the National Board of the Canada Bar Association. A Past President of both the Nova Scotia Chapter and the National Board of the Canadian Condominium Institute, Pat is currently the Co-Chair of the Steering Committee for the National Association of Condominium Managers.
William E. Nearing BSc, LLB
William Nearing received his law degree from Dalhousie Law School in 1981 after completing his BSc with honours in chemistry. His areas of concentration include real property, corporate/commercial, wills and estates, and probate.Bill has operated a successful satellite office in Porter’s Lake for over 30 years. Bill is a member of the Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society, the Real Estate Lawyers Association of Nova Scotia and the Canadian Bar Association.
Craig Berryman BA, LLB
Craig Berryman has been practising law since 1987. His practice is concentrated in property conveyancing and development, Estate Planning and Probate. With an office in Sheet Harbour and Halifax he has significant experience with both rural and urban property issues.An avid soccer fan and former player, Craig now coaches and chauffeurs his children to their games.Craig is a member of the NSBS and a board member of the Lawyers’ Assistance Program.
Devon Cassidy, B.S.c, L.L.B, L.L.M
Devon Cassidy attended Mount Alison University as an undergraduate, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She completed her Bachelors of Law at the University of the West of England, Bristol Law School and her Masters of Law at Trinity College Dublin focusing on International Business Law. Devon began Articling at Cassidy Nearing Berryman in 2013. She was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2015. Devon is practising in the areas of Real Estate, Condominium, Wills and Estates, Corporate and Family law.Devon is also a member of the part-time Faculty at Dalhousie Law School.
Niall Burke, L.L.B, B.L.
Niall Burke completed his Bachelors of Law at the University of the West of England, Bristol Law School. He began Articling at Cassidy Nearing Berryman in 2013. He was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2015. Niall is practising in the areas of Real Estate, Condominium, Wills and Estates, Corporate and Criminal law.Niall is also a member of the part-time Faculty at Dalhousie Law School.
