I help clients prepare their Last Wills whether simple or complex. Without a Will, State law determines who inherits your property. There are many complexities that can affect an estate plan. Estate taxes must be considered as well as a person’s kinship. Some situations may require the creation of a Living Trust to provide long-term protection from incapacity or to avoid the probate process. Zeeshan S. Baig is a member of the Ontario Bar. He obtained his law degree with honours in 2012. After law school, Zeeshan articled with a boutique litigation law firm . He went on to start his own firm in 2015, and then worked at a large law firm focusing on wills, probate and business law before going back to private practice through his own firm in 2017.
Born in Edmonton and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Zeeshan has a diverse background in law, and is experienced in assessing legal issues. He brings a resolution-based approach to every project he works on and is skilled at addressing his clients’ needs with custom long term solutions. Outside of the office, Zeeshan enjoys spending time exploring Toronto with his wife when they’re not trying to figure out what to watch on Netflix.

Over the years, Ms. Rand has acted as an executrix, an administratrix and as an administratrix pendente lite for a number of estates so she is very familiar with the work involved in obtaining Grants administering estates and the issues that may arise in the process.
Not all applications are straightforward and Ms. Rand has assisted clients in making applications for Cessate Grants, Administration debonis non Grants, Grants of Probate of a copy of a will, and Grants limited to only certain portions of an estate.
Although located in the Metro Vancouver area, Ms. Rand has been able to assist clients throughout British Columbia as well as Hawaii, California, Washington State, United Kingdom and Germany, in obtaining Ancillary Grants of Probate and Administration – and in having Grants resealed by the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
